Hi Dannyboi

You will find a lot of good information about the HP test and how it works (including what is a DSA developing hazard and how to click) on the main the LDC website under the learn to drive section including 2 free online HP Tests for you to undertake (i.e. www.learnerdriving.com).

LDC train hundreds of people to become driving instructors each year using its software and manage to get 92.5% of candidates passed on the first attempt with 99.5% within two attempts. This is despite the fact they have to score 57 to pass and not 44 like learner drivers. So provided you do the necessary studying and follow the advice on the LDC website you should not have a problem. From the feedback we get from our instructors (i.e. LDC instructors) very few seem to fail the first attempt let alone a second or indeed a third. However, it is likely these individuals recieved some form of coaching from their instructors as well as just using the software.

Occationally, it helps to have a face to face session with a trainer if a person fails on a second attempt. It you are training with a professional driving instructor I am sure they would be happy to give you a lesson on the computer based hazard perception test. We know from experience that one or two of the DSAs hazard perception tests contain iffy clips and if you are unfortunate to have such a test it may cause you to fail but you are unlikely to have two such tests in a row and indeed it would be highly improbable if not impossible to have three.

In the unlikely event you fail again I would strongly recommend you get some face-to-face tuition on the matter.

Default Booked Theroy Test For Next friday

Are you still having problems with the Hazard Perception Test?? If so when you book up for you next test, DSA will offer some help on the HAzard Perception Test. This help is to sell you a DVD called Roadsense. Purchase this, it costs around £15.99. Work your way through this DVD and you WILL pass it. I purchased it after my 3rd time and i passed. Its real helpful
